More than 50 alumni of ETH, EPFL, HSG and IMD have attended this co-event. As special guest Josh Gardner, CEO of Kung Fu Data, was invited. The company is a certified e-commerce optimization partner specializing in analytics, brand control and performance management. Kung Fu Date operates from 3 locations inside China's largest e-marketplaces. With over 60 full time employees and more than 15 different brands they have already passed a 100’000 gross merchandise volume.

Inspiring personality

Josh Gardner is a fluent Mandarin speaker and serial entrepreneur, he’s also President of the Shanghai chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization. He shared his stories about building his 6 business in 16 years in and out of China. Three failed and three succeeded.

The following Q&A is used by the present alumni as the participants shared their experiences in heated discussions about business, network, passion and life.

Sharing is caring

After his speech there were 30 minutes of free time for alumni to share their own business models or experiences on the stage, each one for 3 minutes.

It was fantastic because until then we did not realized how popular Entrepreneurship is among alumni. There are alumni who have already founded their third company. From graphic design to pharmaceuticals there are many great ideas. One alumni even refused the offer from Oxford and is now doing marketing for Robotics. So many exciting and inspiring stories made the co-event an complete success.
