On Friday, April 4, 10 ETHZ alumni and 10 EPFL alumni gathered at the Impact Hub in Lugano for a wine tasting with finger food. The event was led by Nerida Abbott Deganis, an experienced sommelier with international experience.
Renovation of Platzspitz weir and use of hydropower at Letten power station

The Platzspitz weir at the confluence of the Limmat and Sihl rivers regulates Lake Zurich and harnesses hydropower. After more than 70 years of operation, it has reached the end of its technical service life. We visited the construction site and the Letten power plant in two groups.
Thinking ahead together – results of the ETH graduate survey 2025
How can ETH Zurich better support and connect its alumni after graduation? This was the question addressed by the ETH Graduate Survey 2025, conducted by gfs-zürich on behalf of ETH Zurich. A total of 2,328 graduates were surveyed, including 1,697 members and 631 non-members of the ETH Alumni Association.
