On June 29, 2025, the Luxembourg Chapter invited to join them on a bike tour to Bad Mondorf. The 11 participants were later joined by two wives for lunch.

Twelve alumni gathered at 6 p.m. on June 5, 2025, for the regulars' table at Brasserie du Kirchberg, 123, rue de Kirchberg, L-1858 Luxembourg.

As the first Thursday of the month fell on May 1, the May Stamm was moved to May 8, 2025. Eight alumni met at 18:30 in the Brasserie Kirchberg, 193, rue de Kirchberg, 1858 Luxembourg.

For a change, the Luxembourg chapter moved its April meeting to the south-west of the country, to a brasserie with a new bowling alley. On April 3, 2025, 11 alumni gathered at the brasserie "Beim Krukert", 6, rue des Sacrifiés, L-8356 Garnich.

This time, the ex-poly footballers of the "Schienbeinmus" team had invited us to a hike in Bissen (25 kilometers from Luxembourg City) on 19.3.2025. After all, 16 people (including partners) came together.

The Chapter Luxembourg Alumni hosted its annual General Assembly on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 17:30 at Forum Da Vinci – 6, boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, L-1330 Luxembourg. 14 members accepted the invitation.

On March 6, 2025, the Luxembourg Alumni Chapter hosted the Stamm at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembourg. 14 alumni accepted the invitation.

On February 6, 2025, the Luxembourg Alumni Chapter hosted a regular's table at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembourg. 10 alumni accepted the invitation.

On January 9, 2025, the Luxembourg Alumni Chapter hosted a get-together at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembourg. 14 alumni accepted the invitation.

The "Zürcher Bal", organized by the association "Luxemburger Studenten Zürich" (LSZ), has long been a legendary meeting place for students and alumni from all over Europe. On December 25, 2024, 4300 guests celebrated an unforgettable night full of music, encounters and good vibes in the exhibition halls of LUXEXPO. Thanks to months of planning and dedicated volunteers, the traditional ball was once again a complete success.

On December 5, 2024, the Luxembourg Alumni Chapter hosted a get-together at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembourg. 14 alumni accepted the invitation: The main topic of the evening was AI, its useful application and the limits of its use.

Nikolas Papadatos (PAROS) and Robert Carter (Basel) had invited the graduate chemical engineers (diploma year 1975) to Greece from 19.10.2024 to 27.10.2024. Many thanks from all participants go to the two organizers.

On September 28, 2024, the Luxembourg Alumni Chapter hosted a "private" film screening at 5 pm at the "Kinoler" cinema in Kahler. The invitation was accepted by 22 alumni. We ended the evening with a cozy dinner.

On September 5, 2024, the Luxembourg Alumni Chapter hosted its traditional gathering at 18:30 at the Schobermesse in the "An der Flesch" ("In der Flasche") marquee. 22 alumni accepted the invitation.

22 alumni visited the SOLER windmill in Pontpierre on April 27, 2024. Afterwards, they met for dinner at the restaurant BEIM KUEB, 24, rue de Luxembourg in L-4391 Pontpierre.

The Luxembourg Chapter invited its members to an autumn hike to Steinfort on October 15, 2023. 13 alumni accepted the invitation.

The Luxembourg Chapter had booked the cinema KINOLER in Kahler, 38, rue Principale for a private screening on 16 September 2023 at 17:00. Afterwards we went to a joint dinner at the restaurant BESTIAL in Grass. Ten alumni accepted the invitation.

The Luxembourg Alumni Chapter invited their members to the Trunk at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembourg on October 5th 2023. Ten alumni accepted and attended the invitation.

The Chapter Luxembourg Alumni's regular's table met on September 7, 2023 in the marquee "Flesch" ("The bottle") at the Schobermesse. 16 alumni attended and enjoyed the fair.

The Luxembourg Chapter had invited to an interesting exhibition at the Lycée classique Diekirch on February 3, 2023 at 17:30. Théo Duhautpas had made this visit possible. Eleven alumni had accepted the invitation.

On 1 December, Chapter Luxembourg invited to the traditional regulars' table. Nine alumni accepted the invitation, two attended via Viso conference.

On Friday, 25 November 2022, Chapter Luxembourg invited to a "Soirée Suisse". Nineteen alumni and alumnae had registered, however, only seventeen could come as two enrollees had to cancel due to illness.

On 3 November 2022, Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to its monthly regulars’ table at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembourg. Eleven alumni accepted the invitation. In addition, three further alumni were connected via ZOOM and participated from Switzerland.

On 16 October, Chapter Luxembourg invited to an autumn hike to the Moselle in Ehen. Eleven alumni accepted the invitation and enjoyed a beautiful day in autumn.

On 5 October 2022, Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to its monthly regulars’ table at the Brasserie du Kirchberg in Luxembour. Ten alumni (among them also Jean Pierre Wagener with diploma year 1962) accepted the invitation. In addition, three further alumni were connected via ZOOM and participated from Switzerland.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to a "private" movie screening on 24 September 2022, at 5 pm in the movie theater “Kinoler” in Kahler. 24 alumni and alumnae followed the invitation. The evening ended with an unhurried dinner.

On 1st September 2022, Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to it’s monthly regulars’ table at the marquee "Flesch" (in English: "bottle") at the "Schobermesse". 22 alumni and alumnae accepted the invitation.

On 23 July 2022, 23 alumni and alumnae visited the new site of the water treatment plant in Eschdorf.

On 4 August 2022, five alumni took part in our regulars’ table in the Brasserie du Kirchberg, 193, rue de Kirchberg, 1858 Luxembourg, two were connected via zoom from Switzerland.

On 3 July 2022, 16 cyclists (11 alumni five of them with their partner) joined the bike trip proposed by Chapter Luxembourg.

On 10 June 2022, eleven alumnae and alumni of Chapter Luxembourg visited the premises of the planning office Schroeder & Associés, in Kockelscheuer (Roeser), 13 rue de l'innovation.

Robert Carter invited the chemical engineering graduates (graduation year 1975) to Zurich on 20 May 2022. 21 alumnae and alumni accepted the invitation. They came from all corners of the world and each one of them had an interesting curriculum to share.

On 15 May 2022, Chapter Luxembourg organised a walk to Schoenfels. Twelve alumnae and alumni accepted the invitation.

Chapter Luxembourg invited to a traditional regulars’ table at the Brasserie du Kirchberg on 5 May, 2022. Eight alumni accepted the invitation. During the first half hour, three alumni joined via Zoom from Switzerland.

On February 3, 2022, Chapter Luxembourg invited to the second regulars’ table via ZOOM. This month, four alumni accepted the invitation. Five colleagues attended from Switzerland.

On 6 January 2022, the Luxembourg Chapter invited to the first traditional regulars’ table to the “Brasserie du Kirchberg” in the new year. Due to corona, the regulars’ table had to be rescheduled as a zoom meeting at short notice. 11 alumni accepted the invitation.

The Luxembourg Chapter invited once more to a traditional regulars’ table on December 2, 2021. Only six alumni accepted the invitation.

On Friday, 27 November 2021, Chapter Luxemburg invited to a “Soirée Suisse”.

On 7 October, the Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to the monthly regulars’ table at the Brasserie de Kirchberg, 193, rue de Kirchberg, 1558 Luxembourg. Ten alumni accepted the invitation.

Fourteen Alumni accepted the invitation of Chapter Luxembourg Alumni and met for a cinema event at the Kinoler cinema in Kahler on 18 September 2021.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to the inn «Brideler Stuff» on September 2, 2021. Nineteen Alumni attended.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to our regular haunt "Brasserie du Kirchberg» on August 5, 2021. In addition to the ten attending alumni, three more greeted from Switzerland.

On July 24, 2021, the Luxembourg chapter organised a cycle race and a barbecue in Esch-Sauer. Ten people cycled with us, and 22 joined us for the barbecue.

After twelve events via Zoom, the Luxembourg Chapter invited once more to a traditional regular’s table on July 1, 2021. Nine alumni accepted the invitation, four were connected via zoom on a laptop.

12 cyclists (nine alumni, three of them with partners) joined the tour organised by Chapter Luxembourg Alumni on 20 June 2021. All participants enjoyed the bike tour in beautiful weather.

Eleven alumni took part in our 12th virtual regulars’ table on 3 June 2021. Four colleagues joined us from Switzerland: Marc from Basel, Tun from Fribourg, Charles from Nyon and Roll from Zurich.

The Chapter Luxembourg had invited to a hike in the valley of the Eisch on 30 May 2021. Start and arrival was at the school in Hollenfels, a village with 340 inhabitants in the municipality of Helperknapp, in the Canton of Mersch.

Ten alumni attended the 11th virtual gathering that took place on 6 May 2021. Four colleagues participated from Switzerland, Marc in Basel, Tun in Fribourg, Charles in Nyon and Hans-Peter in Nidwalden.

Fifteen alumni attended the 10th virtual gathering that took place on 1 April 2021. Two colleagues participated from Switzerland, Marc in Basel and Tun in Fribourg.

Fifteen alumni attended the 9th virtual gathering that took place on March 4, 2021. Four colleagues participated from Switzerland, Nico in Zurich, Hans-Peter in Obwalden, Roll in Sion and Tun in Fribourg.

Seven alumni attend the 8th virtual gathering that took place on February 4, 2021. There is no agenda at such meetings. Without warning or transition, one topic follows the other. However, a summary requires a certain structure.

Due to the ongoing Corona crisis, Chapter Luxembourg invited again to a regulars’ table via Zoom on January 7, 2021. This was our 7th virtual gathering. Eight alumni attended; one colleague had taken the time to join in from Obwalden, Switzerland.

As Luxembourg is still in the grip of the pandemic, Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited again to a virtual regulars’ table via a Zoom conference.

On Friday, 27 November 2020, the Chapter Luxembourg invited to a "Soirée Suisse Digitale". Six alumni took the opportunity to spread a little Swiss flair at a Zoom conference.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to the fourth regulars' table in times of Corona on 1st of October 2020 in its local pub "Brasserie du Kirchberg", 193, rue du Kirchberg.

The Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to a "private" movie screening on 19 September 2020, at 5 pm in the Kino Kinoler in Kahler. Ten alumni had followed the invitation. The evening ended with an unhurried dinner.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to a “Schobermesse feeling”, third regulars’ table in times of the Corona pandemic on 3 September 2020. Traditionally, the first Thursday in September is held in a marquee at the Schobermesse and for many years, it has been one of the best attended regulars' tables of the year. The Corona pandemic forced the Chapter Luxembourg to look for an alternative this year.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to the second regular’s table in times of Corona on 6 August 2020. Thanks to reservations in good time, this regular’s table could take place in our local pub "Brasserie du Kirchberg", 193, rue du Kirchberg.

Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to the first regular’s table in times of Corona on 2 July 2020. The gastronomic turnover collapses in these times, the restaurants have to get on with half of the available seats. As our regular haunt "Brasserie du Kirchberg" was already fully booked, we moved to the restaurant "Beim Zeutzius" at 71 rue de Trèves, in the "Cents" district of Luxembourg City.

On 14 June 2020, Alumni Chapter Luxembourg invited to a hiking tour through the vineyards along the Moselle river. The program included a two-hour hike, departure and arrival located at the lock in Stadtbredimus.

Due to the concurrent Corona crisis, Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to a zoom conference on 4 June 2020. The board intended to show the difference to a conference via Skype. Nine participants accepted this invitation, during the virtual meeting another participant joined in, while another one left after half an hour.  

As an alternative to the traditional regulars’ table on the first Thursday of the month, the Alumni Chapter Luxembourg invited to a virtual meeting on April 2, 2020. The discussion group offered 12 participants a welcome change from usual activities like cleaning up, watching TV and reading to make the lock-down situation due to the Corona crisis more bearable.

On Thursday, March 5, 2020, the Chapter Luxembourg Alumni once again invited to the regular’s table. Eleven Alumni came to the Brasserie du Kirchberg, 193 rue de Kirchberg, close to Luxembourg City.  

On Wednesday, 29th of January 2020, Chapter Luxembourg Alumni invited to a “Soirée Gastronomique” at restaurant Alexis Heck, 2-4 avenue de la Gare in Diekirch.

On Friday, November 29, 2019, the Alumni Chapter Luxembourg invited to a “Soirée Suisse” at Auberge Thillsmillen. The inn is located in the forest of Luxembourg, not far from Mamer and Kopstal. 34 Alumni took the opportunity to recall the flair of old Zurich times while eating Swiss dishes.

On Sunday, October 20, 2019, the Alumni Chapter Luxembourg had the opportunity to visit the water treatment plant of the Luxembourg’s oldest water syndicate (SES Koerich). 23 Alumni gathered in Rehberg to learn about the installations under expert guidance of Bert Wolff.

Around 15 members of the Alumni Chapter Luxemburg hiked along the border river Sauer, between Germany and Luxemburg, for 2 hours with fantastic autumn weather on October 14, 2018. Start and end of the hike was the small village Born at the Sauer.
