About us

REIS Alumni is part of the ETH Alumni. It is open to all graduates of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems (REIS) at D-BAUG and aims to keep former students in touch with one another and promote multi-generational networks. We also welcome graduates from related further education programmes.

The group was set up in the spring of 2017 for graduates of Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems (REIS) and aims to maintain existing friendships and help people keep in touch.

The idea behind the group came about in various discussions in 2016 and a survey was sent to numerous graduates to gauge interest in such a a group. The positive feedback led to the group being founded within ETH Alumni.

Since 2018, we have also welcomed graduates from closely related courses (such as MAS Spatial Planning).

REIS Alumni is committed to various objectives to help keep REIS graduates in contact with one another once they leave ETH:

MAINTAIN | Contacts made while at ETH.

REMEMBER | Joint experiences.

CONNECT | Bring different cohorts together.

CREATE | Acquire new knowledge together.

LINK| Meet new people.

70 Swiss francs cover the cost of membership of both ETH Alumni and REIS Alumni. If you are a member of other groups, there are no additional fees.

The REIS meet-up: Every three months, we get together in the evening to meet in a relaxed atmosphere. We get to talk about joint projects, topical issues or memories and maintain links.

REIS Alumni organises other annual events, incorporating social and specialist aspects. Our program of activities includes specialist presentations, excursions and podium discussions as well as social gatherings (such as Jassen (a Swiss card game), bowling, etc.), sporting activities (such as football) and or an evening meal.

The dates of events are always published in our annual programme, which you need to register for.
