Studying human medicine at ETH

The human medicine course was launched at ETH Zurich in September 2017.

Students spend their first 3 years at ETH Zurich and can then graduate with a Bachelor’s in human medicine. The entire course takes 6 years, with the Master’s element being completed at a partner university (Zurich, Basel, Lugano). Students complete the course by sitting a Swiss federal exam in human medicine, after which graduates can practice as doctors.
