The Career Event on resilience took place on 14 June 2018 at ETH Zürich at which 40 participants took part in the interactive lecture by Laura Rijks.

Roughly forty Alumni of the Ortsgruppe Zürich met on 23 May 2018 in front of the impressive building of the Opera house which adorns the Sechselätenplatz for a guided tour of the Zürich Opera house.

On the evening of 4 July 2018, the members of the Alumni Chapter Singapore, their friends and family, met for their annual raclette dinner.

On June 26, swissnex China invited the world-renowned roboticist and futurist, Dr. Rolf Pfeifer, to share his profound insights in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics and automation. Dr. Pfeifer is currently Visiting Chair Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and he is a scientific consultant for “Living with Robots” Ltd. Moreover, he is co-founder of the National Robotics Center in Switzerland.

For a year, Michaela Bürge has been working as scientific staff at Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products, in the department of medical devices where she oversees the safety of medical devices in the market in her daily work.

On the evening of June 27, it was time for the 20^th so-called “Swiss Young Professionals” gathering, a highly popular event for the young or young-at-heart “local” Swiss community in Tokyo as well as Japanese friends of Switzerland.
