Die Volkswirtschaft is a business magazine, in which experts and senior decision makers write on current economic policy issues. The authors come from the public sector, politics, science and industry. Each issue focuses on a key topic. The magazine is a source of knowledge, written in a reader-friendly style. Opposing viewpoints are expressed in interviews, debates and economic opinions. The views adopted are not necessarily those of the federal government.
The magazine is published monthly in both German and French (La Vie économique). January/February and August/September are double issues. It is published by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER).
