The ETH Library is a public library and all services for private individuals are available to you. As a member of the ETH Alumni Association, you can additionally order scientific literature free of charge and access selected electronic resources.

As a member of the ETH Alumni Association, you can order scientific literature free of charge and access selected electronic resources. By using this offer, you agree that we may provide information about your Alumni email address to the ETH Library upon their request. ETH-Bibliothek exclusively offers you the following services:

Legal information
In compliance with copyright laws copies of articles may only be sent to members of the ETH Alumni Association residing in Switzerland or Austria (articles from the ETH stock). Copies to alumni in Germany may only be sent in paper form by mail. The borrowing of books requires a residence in Switzerland.

Unfortunately we cannot supply any articles or documents to members of the ETH Alumni Association whose place of residence is not in Switzerland, Austria or Germany.

Attention: Media borrowed via MyAlumni are not listed in a personal library account. The management of loans (loan periods, renewals, reminders, etc.) is done exclusively by mail. If you would like to manage your loans in a personal library account, you can register as a private individual on the platform ETH Library@swisscovery.
Documents from the holdings of the ETH Libraries as well as from the holdings of the Central Library Zurich can be picked up free of charge at one of the ETH Library locations. However, if you order courier deliveries from other libraries or article copies through your library account, you then pay the fees for private individuals (the alumni benefits will then not apply!). To order documents free of charge from SLSP libraries and other libraries worldwide, use exclusively the order form on the My Alumni platform.
