Association of former student representatives and board members of student associations
After a slow initial phase, the VESUV has now sprung to life and hard at work creating dialogue between current and former student representatives and providing advice and support.
The VESUV organises events, aimed specifically at its members. It also organises events, intended to encourage contact with students who are currently active in order to promote the acquisition of knowledge and to raise awareness amongst the next generation of student representatives.
After-work beer
Once a semester, the VESUV organises an after-work beer. There is no fixed agenda and no obligations, but the VESUV buys the first beer for everyone who shows up. The VESUV board come along and welcome all VESUV members who want to network with one another, reminisce about the old days or get to know some new “old” faces.
Fondue evening
Every autumn we meet to share a leisurely fondue. Alongside the eating element, we always like to visit something or someone at ETH beforehand. For example, we have learnt all about the new Minergie building LEE and marvelled at walking robots.
Barbecue
We always make our annual general meeting brief and to the point so afterwards we barbecue a few steaks and burgers and enjoy a relaxed evening together.
