In preparation of that, they pitched their projects to alumni and friends at Swissnex Boston on Thursday, October 12. Patrick Anquetil, president of ETH Alumni Chapter New England, opened and moderated the pitching session, which ranged from ideas for redesigning the high school system in Lebanon, recycling scientific equipment from European research institutions and sending it to universities in developing countries, assisting children with chronic diseases in Togo, to providing ophthalmological exams and equipment to those without access in rural Brazil. The pitching session was complemented with an aperitif and networking opportunities at the end.

Big and special thanks to ETH Global, Université de Lausanne and Swissnex Boston for making this event possible.
